Leon Ockenden - Peter Kyle

Leon is thrilled to be joining the Original Theatre Company and Birdsong Productions; especially after his repeated viewings of their brilliant touring production of Birdsong.

 

Before becoming an Actor Leon was an award winning Master Baker and Chef Patissier; Hot Cross Buns, Wholemeal loaves and Choux Pastry are his specialties.

 

He was most recently seen on Television as Sergei De Bolotoff  a Russian Prince and Son In law from hell in MR SELFRIDGE, and as the philandering PE Teacher Hector Reid in WATERLOO road.

 

Other TV and Film work includes – Heartbeat, Tripping Over, Secret Diary of a Callgirl, New Tricks, Midsommer Murders, Judge John Deed, Hustle, Casualty, Red Tails, An Old Fashioned Christmas.

 

His Theatre Credits include, Women Beware Women (RSC), Plague Over England (West End), Muswell Hill (Orange Tree Theatre) and The Merchant Of Venice and As You Like It (Lamb Players)

 

He is also the voice and likeness of FBI Psychological Profiler Norman Jayden in cult video game Heavy Rain.

 

In 2014 he founded Giddy Kipper films his debut short film DESIRE was nominated for best short film at the British Independent Film Festival.

 

In his spare time he enjoys going to soft play with young daughter and shooting arrows from his Bow at pictures of his father in law
